Our Innovation
Wigwam follows a simple enough two-fold approach – taking as little as possible from nature and giving back as much as possible. In order to achieve that and also resonate with the needs of the market, precision and modernization have been a crucial part of our approach. Our philosophy is straightforward – provide value-for-money products and at the same time continue improving said products. Our research and customer feedback are vital for this.
A uniquely devised method in which all the layers of the core veneers are joined by the core composer to minimise the gaps and the core joints in the plywood. First, the Matply (ply without face veneer) is prepared to ensure error-free inner construction of the plywood.

This formula has been inherited from the Japanese industry and offers absolute bonding, flatness, dimensional stability, and durability to the plywood. Each and every sheet of plywood goes though the pressing process four times during the manufacturing stage to achieve absolute bonding and high density. The pre-pressing or cold pressing provides initial bonding to the Matply before going into the hot press. Tetracycle Advantage increases the strength and durability of the plywood.

Wigwam Plywood is a pioneer in Reconstituted Face Veneer manufacturing and popularising the white Recon Face Veneers in India. Our Recon/Engineered Face Veneer manufacturing unit was started in 2016 to reduce the import of face veneers from China and Indonesia.

Our plywood is calibrated from both sides using a high calibrator machine simultaneously which gives a uniform thickness across the panel. Wigwam Plywood is developed especially with microbicides that are impregnated into the surface of the plywood. Each sheet is treated with these microbicides to help create a comprehensive shield against microbes.

Formaldehyde is a chemical compound used to make resin that is used in plywood construction. To reduce environment pollution and protect human health, the wood industry has set up standards for Formaldehyde Emission. These include E0, E1, E2, CARB P2, F4 etc. E0 is one of the highest Formaldehyde Emission standards for plywood. Wigwam Visor and Wigwam Contender conform to the E0 emission standards.
In Hexa Force Technology the veneers are stacked up and provide a high level of compactness and Zero Gaps that makes the Plywood Strong. This makes Wigwam products eco-friendly and safe to use.
